Everything! Phil and Lorraine, the husband/wife/business owners have been serving locals and not-so-local customers for many years. Two kind, warm, caring people that clearly care about their customers! Phil is the Chef, and Lorraine serves Phil's creations to their customers. Not only are they wonderful, Phil's creations are amazing, and when you eat there, you get to enjoy the ambience of a true All American Coffee Shop that has been through very tough times over the years, something you will learn about looking at the historic photos of the business inundated at least two times with flood waters! And, like the Everready Bunny, they just keep going! Thank goodness for that! I hope that if you haven't already been to the Mill Valley Coffee Shop, you drop in and introduce yourself to both Phil and Lorraine, and then sit down and have yourself an amazing breakfast or lunch! And by the way, they now have a wheelchair accessible bathroom next door, so you can have as many refills of Lorrain's coffee (she also makes killer Latte's and espresso coffee) as you want!

Absolutely essential to have this restaurant in the area. Breakfast, lunch or anytime in between when you're looking for an easy place to have coffee and pastry. The menu is basic and offers the standards found on most diners around the country. There were quite a few in Marin decades ago, at least one in every one of our small towns. MV Coffee Shop has been here for 38 years, through floods and Covid and other downturns. The couple that has lived through it all and worked the entire time, Lorraine and Phillip, will stay the course. Stop in and see for yourself how good the food is, if you've not before.

This place I ran up on was so unexpected. The friendliness from the staff absolutely amazing. The food is absolutely to die for. It's a little cute coffee shop on the corner but when I tell you, you will not be disappointed. And the wonderful turkey club. Baby, I would have it again.it's worth the drive to go and check them out. And their breakfast is top-notch.

As they open at 6:30 AM, I tend to get there around then. Not crowded at all. This place defines a coffee shop. If you come with that expectation then the food is pretty good and prices reasonable.

Such a beautiful historic diner! If you love mom and pop diners this is the place to stop and support. Food looks great, we stopped a few times for their mochas cause they make them the way I love. It's not too sweet and with the right amount of foam and espresso. The locals stop here so it will be busy on and off.
